W dniach 8-9 października w Sztabie Policji KWP w Gdańsku przeprowadzono Turniej Dyżurnych jednostek Policji woj. pomorskiego. Uczestniczyło w nim 19 funkcjonariuszy wyłonionych w wyniku preeliminacji w jednostkach KMP/KPP.
Organizatorem turnieju był Sztab Policji KWP w Gdańsku oraz wydziały: Łączności i Informatyki, Psychologów, a także Wywiadu Kryminalnego.
Celem turnieju było podniesienie rangi i podkreślenie zakresu odpowiedzialności służby dyżurnej w jednostkach Policji, doskonalenie umiejętności zdecydowanej i zgodnej z procedurami realizacji zadań dyżurnego jednostki Policji, zweryfikowanie stanu posiadanej wiedzy służby dyżurnej woj. pomorskiego i określenie ewentualnych potrzeb w zakresie realizacji procesu doskonalenia zawodowego.
Turniej składał się z czterech etapów. W pierwszym dniu odbyła się symulacja pracy na stanowisku kierowania. W kolejnym dniu przeprowadzono test wiedzy oraz dwie pozostałe konkurencje - obsługę systemów informatycznych i obsługę środków łączności przewodowej i bezprzewodowej.
W drugim dniu, po ukończeniu wszystkich konkurencji przyszedł czas na ogłoszenie wyników. Pierwsze miejsce zajął nadkom. Tomasz Cioch - dyżurny KMP w Gdyni, drugie asp. sztab. Marcin Potrykus - dyżurny KPP Wejherowo, trzecie kom. Mariusz Neubauer - dyżurny KPP Lębork. Pozostałych 16 funkcjonariuszy zostało sklasyfikowanych jednocześnie na czwartym miejscu.
